20 Hot Spots for Destination Weddings

HomeAway has announced their 2018 wedding collection of rentable properties that are perfect for destination weddings. These homes are ideal for large parties and boast picture perfect sceneries. The collection features 20 estates from castles to townhomes and even beachside properties around the world.
Europe:

London, UK

 A historic townhouse in Central London is available for large parties to rent with seven bedrooms to accommodate guests in a 4,600 square foot garden apartment. Located in the heart of London, guests have the pleasure of hearing Big Ben’s chime while in the garden.
The townhouse is at the center of many attractions. The house is roughly a 20-minute walk to Westminster Abby, National Galleries, Covent Garden, Theatreland and West End, where multiple cafes, bars, clubs and restaurants are located. The townhouse can be rented nightly starting at $1,333.

North Wales, UK

The Mostyn family’s 18th century Baroque castle has become available for large groups to rent.  The Westbury Castle can accommodate 24 guests. The castle of one of the great families in Whales history is located in Flintshire, North Whales.
The castle mansion starts at $1,888 a night. Wedding receptions start at £6,500 ($7,536) and include a two-night stay with accommodations for 38 guests.  
Ireland, UK
Bansha Castle is a luxury Irish castle in a country setting in Tipperary, Ireland. The country house was built in the 18th century established in private grounds with luscious gardens with the famous and gorgeous Glen of Aherlow and Galtee Mountains in the background.
The location provides guests with the chance to hike and cycle on mountain trails and fish in one of the best trout rivers in Europe, River Suir. Multiple golf courses are located near the property and horse riding, swimming and tennis can be arranged upon request. Reservations require a two-night stay starting at $827 a night.
Normandy, France 
Located in the small town of Tocqueville, France is the Pavilion du Chateau de Tocqueville, a very elegant and beautiful 17th century château with five bedrooms overlooking the property and the neighboring sea.
The proximity to the ocean offers the opportunity to visit the port of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and the port of Barfleur and guests can visit the Normandy beaches and other historical sites. Guests can rent the 4,305 square-foot castle that sleeps 10 for $699 a night with a two-night stay minimum.

Provence, France

The St. Roch property is an updated farmhouse from the 18th century in the heart of Robion, Provence. Some of the world’s finest hilltop villages are located in Provence. Staying at St. Roch gives guests the chance to explore lavender fields, the French Riviera, explore of some of the best-preserved Roman ruins in Europe, kayak in the calanque of Port-Pin near Cassis and go shopping at the Provencal markets.
 The house is 3,229 square-feet, five bedrooms and sleeps 11 people. Reservations require a minimum stay of a week. A night starts at $534.
Siena, Italy
 Santa Virginia is an authentic Tuscan farmhouse that has been renovated is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Val d'Orcia, Monte Amiata and Siena villages. It has a private swimming pool with a sunrise to sunset view.
The house also comes with private parking, table tennis, table football, a barbecue, and garden furniture, along with games for younger children. A night’s stay starts at $624 and a four-night minimum stay is required.
Caribbean:

Noord, Aruba 

This Spanish-style oceanfront villa is half a mile away from high-rise hotels, and provides gorgeous ocean views, five bedrooms, six-suite bathrooms, and a swim-up bar in our private pool set in a tropical garden paradise.
The island of Malmok offers restaurants and casinos less than two miles away.
